..we therefore advocate a revolution against the industrial system.
This revolution may or may not make use of violence: it may be sudden
or it may be a relatively gradual process spanning a few decades. We
can’t predict any of that. But we do outline in a very general way the
measures that those who hate the industrial system should take in
order to prepare the way for a revolution against that form of
    society ->

  • cunars:

This is not to be a POLITICAL revolution. Its object will be
to overthrow not governments but the economic and technological basis
    of the present society. T.Kaczynski

  • Vatoaztecas:

@cunars Like gettin off the grid.. Becoming self sufficient would be the first and foremost thing.. Right?

  • vdubs4life1964:

TVP will be the Worlds 5th Reich… Its going to be beautiful folks…

  • maxigdevoto:

@hanyangwe yeah you should really read the faq on the venus project home site and zeitgeist movement, because as plain as you re propose it, it takes the whole thing out of context and sounds more like communism and crashes with ownership as a right. the cuestion of ownership is based on a scarcity basis which won’t exist in a RBE so “having no property” and “giving everything to everyone” should be placed in the new context, were abundance is the key and not scarcity. think it over.

  • maxigdevoto:

@Vatoaztecas being self sufficient is important but, when this whole system falls upon it own structural failures it’s important for all of us to join and propose an RBE economic system.if the world is in caos and there’s no food and water people will use their most basic instincts to survive which means violence will arise and even if you are self-sufficient people with no food and water will end up attacking in one way or another those who do have. so the change should be on a global scale.

  • Hellapalooza:

@hanyangwe. Im sure you have it all figured out. Great line in a great movie, Vanilla Sky, Open Your Eyes.

  • vicarofrevelwood:

I too refused the pledge in school. i was ridiculed and derided. I have felt as my father, and as the old man in the beginning of the film. “this shit has gotta go!”

  • FreeMeFromG:

People can’t seem to get that the way we are living life on this planet is unraveling. Where it was once “There” problem, meaning people in poorer counties, (Which was bad enough) now it’s hitting the wealthier countries as well.

In time, not sure when, there will really be no where to hid from it and people will throw their hands up in the air and say, “How could we have not seen this coming? Why didn’t we do anything about it?!”

Sadly some people are too locked into this mindset. Very sad.

  • bagiee1:

  • bagiee1:

@vdubs4life1964 need to think like this…what’s more important is to re-evaluate the way we, ourselves, view things… to change ourselves, rather than how many dvd’s we gave away…or to how many persons we have talked about it… if we make the change in ourselves…the rest will follow.. :)
